When it comes to viral gastroenteritis, if the body is strong, one approach is to view it like managing any other viral. This inlcudes ample rest, very easy to digest food and fluids to maintain electrolytes and having a higher than normal dose of probiotics. While research points towards specific strains, if you are new to the field of therapeutic food and lifestyle, it is always safer and wiser to begin with a multi strain probiotic. Adding more than usual dosage, and gradually increasing the dosage, can allow your body to move past this. Remember to support your body with a lot of sleep and pleanty of fluids.
