FAQ

How can we help you?

Pruve’s mission is to be a resource where users and healthcare professionals can access trustworthy, evidence-based data on natural treatment modalities. Each treatment recommendation is sourced from at least one research study from a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and then either supported or disproved by our contributor panel, which consists of doctors and researchers.

We split our “ratings” of treatment recommendations according to two groups – the first is experts, and the second is researchers. “Experts” consist of anyone in clinical practice, e.g. a medical doctor, naturopathic doctor, registered dietitian etc. “Researchers” are contributors with other health credentials, such as health coaches, nutritionists, etc.

If you’re interested in contributing (as either an expert or researcher), please fill out the respective forms and we’ll take a look.

YES. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Pruve’s database is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Speak with your doctor before incorporating any changes into your regimen.

Integrative medicine is not intended to compete with conventional medicine but rather, to build upon its strengths, with additional focuses. By treating patients with both practices, the conventional route will address the problem acutely (i.e. treating unpleasant symptoms) while the additional complementary treatments will address the root of the problem itself.
